My Most Miserable Day

It all started with a colossal mess in the kitchen. My toast was ruined, my coffee spilled all over, and I fell over the shoes causing a ugly scrape. I was already running out of time for work, so this was just the icing on the cake. Then, at work, my presentation froze, and I had to work overtime. To top it all off, I forgot my wallet on the way home.

Like choosing to eat/ordering/consuming that questionable pizza/curry/sandwich – I'll never forget the disastrous/painful/gut-wrenching consequences.
